Meet The Creator

I am Kendra Hendricks the creator of Empowerment Apparel 531 from Baltimore, MD. I have worked in the mental health field for 10 years and counting. I have a  ACRE certification in Supported Employment, Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in School Counseling. Over the course of my career my purpose has been more defined when working with children and adults with disabilities. Working in various mental health institutes has exposed me to many deficiencies in the mindset of those determining services for students transitioning out of high school. I feel compelled to begin an advocacy campaign for all those who have been told what they could not do rather than what they can. I am an ambassador for a mindset shift in the way we view those with; cognitive and physical impairments, mental health disorders, addiction and various forms of Autism.
